IDC Reports 124% Increase in Smartphone Shipment in Pakistan

International Data Corporation (IDC) presented report: 124% Increase in Smartphone Shipment in Pakistan. IDC came up with the latest report about the shipment of Smartphones in Pakistan. There is an outstanding increase in shipment, says the report.

Interestingly IDC Reports 124% Increase in Smartphone Shipment in Pakistan

Just the first quarter of the year has passed and there is an increase of 124% in the shipments of Smartphone to the country according to the latest results gathered by global technology research and consulting firm.

During the last three months the shipments increased by 21% and the credit has given to 3G and 4G implementation in Pakistan.

IDC moreover in the report predicts that the shipment of feature phones might undergo in the next two years as there is huge increase in the shipment of Smartphones as compared to previous year. Report further mentions that:

[pull_quote_center]Qmobile is still the major dominator with an overall unit share of 58%, feature phone as well as smartphone segments. Nokia is having 17% handset share in the country while Voice mobile is having 5% share.[/pull_quote_center]

By this report IDC expects to have further increase in the rate of shipment because there are other international competing brands also who have brilliant Smartphones and are coping with market such as Lenovo, Samsung, HTC, Huawei and local brands like Haier and Rivo are also competing within same market.
