Illegal Gateway Exchange Raided in Islamabad

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its ongoing efforts to control grey traffick has unearthed illegal gateway exchange in Islamabad.

According to details, successful raid against the grey operator was carried out along with FIA team at residential area of Islamabad. The raid was carried out in Sector I-8/2 Islamabad.  During the raid, huge grey setup was recovered from the house.  The international calls were terminated through IPs and same were routed though 4 PRIs.

The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic thus curtailing the loss to the national exchequer because of grey traffickers in the country.
