Illegal VoIP Gateway Exchange Unearthed in Lahore

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its ongoing efforts to control grey trafficking unearthed yet another illegal gateway exchange. this time Illegal VoIP Gateway Exchange Unearthed in Lahore.

In a fresh move, a successful operation against the grey operator was carried out along with FIA team in Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore. During the raid, illegal exchange comprising of 4 gateways, 2 DSL routers, hundreds of SIMs, deskptop PC and Laptop were confiscated.

The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic thus curtailing the loss to the national exchequer because of grey traffickers in the country.
