Mobile Dominates Google Search

The desktop has been replaced by trendy gadgets like Smartphones, Tablets and laptops. Due to this rise of smart devices now people Google more from their smartphones as compared to PCs and the use of PCs has been decreased in present century. Hence, now mobile dominates Google search.

For this reason, Google has announced changes in its Mobile Search Algorithm. The news about mobile search is overriding desktop searches indicates that we have officially entered a “mobile-first” world, according to Zeus Kerravala, an analyst with ZK Research.

Websites that are not designed to look good and run well on smartphones will definitely not get good placement in search results; neither on mobile nor on desktop. In this regard, Kerravala said that:

[pull_quote_center]”The fact that Google is prioritizing mobile sites means Google’s ads need to be oriented around mobile. I think it is changing what Google does with ads, meaning ads are going to need to become more localized. So if I search for “fast food,” don’t put a Wendy’s ad up if there are no Wendy’s within 10 miles.”[/pull_quote_center]

The local advertising for mobile users is going to be most affected from these changes of Google. Now advertisers will pay more attention in this regard.
