Telenor Pakistan Presents Safety Watch ‘Companion’ for Children

Telecom Company, Telenor, has made it easier for the parents to keep a check on their children whether they are safe or not. For this purpose Telenor has developed a watch which will enable parents check safety of their children. The watch is called ‘Companion’ , this watch with the help of its smart features will enable children  inform their parents in case of any emergency.

The Companion was showcased lately at a technology exhibition in Karachi with the catchline “A wearable watch tracker for your child’s safety”.

The special watch has just two buttons, an SOS button and another for phone calls. According to the telecom company, Telenor, the child can press the button if he or she is in an emergency condition and inform their family member. The company also informed that parents can contact their child with the help of the same watch, as a GSM sim has been installed in it.

The watch has been made specially for those young children who do not know how to use a mobile phone. Thus with this watch they can get help by just pressing a button. The watch will be around Rs.8,000 to Rs.10,000.
