Telenor to Increase Tariffs from August 22 Due to the Latest Imposition of Internet Tax

Due to the latest imposition of 19.5% FED tax on mobile date and internet by the Government of Punjab, Telenor also will also going to revise the prices of its internet bundles and services. Telenor Pakistan announces that the mobile internet price revision will be done from 22nd August 2015. The customers living in Federal Area of Pakistan will be free from the tax imposition as Telenor decided to impose the same tax of 19.5 % which the Government of Punjab has imposed, to the customers of Punjab, KPK and Balochistan. While those living in Sindh, there is a Tax Rate of 18% which is applicable on them. Every other package and Service will be having the same price as previously before the price revision, except internet services.

The price revision will be done to all the internet bundles either they are 3G bundles or Social Offers. The price revision chart for mobile internet packages from 22nd August 2015 is as follows:
