United Mobile’s Keenu to Introduce First Merchant Payment Service in Pakistan

Wemsol Private Limited is set to introduce its payment network brand, Keenu. Wemsol, a fully-owned subsidiary of United Mobile, is a service-oriented company that launched in 2011, with the notion of delivering complete, end-to-end electronic payment and enterprise solutions personalized to customers’ needs.

Keenu, aims to offer the best of customer service. Mr. Ashraf Machiyara is the Chairman of the company, while Ejaz Hassan, Saad Niazi, and Raja Faisal Zaman are the CEO, COO, and Director Technology, respectively.

Keenu offers many payment solutions, while also providing merchant servicing, all under one roof, with value additions like none other in the industry. With the advent of technology, and added usage of smartphones, Keenu will enable digital payments, where executing a transaction will be welcoming ever than before.

The company has three major offerings, each of which is designed to aid wholesalers, telcos, banks, and consumers. Keenu Pay, Keenu NetConnect and Keenu Club. Keenu is already piloting its products with couple of online vendors. It has also deployed its NFC solution with Easypaisa.

The launch event had number of big names from banks, telcos, merchants, and industrialist, ranging across the country, including Mr. Ashraf Machiyara, the Chairman of Machiyara Group of Companies.
