Huawei is hitting the market this time by introducing its Y series devices. Today we will look at the latest device of Y series which is next version of Huawei Y5(2017). The device which we are going to discuss is “Huawei Y7 Prime“, is the latest machine of Huawei which recently came into the market and its price in Pakistan is PKR.24,999/-. This device of Huawei Y7 Prime has Qualcomm Chipset. Let’s see the Huawei Y7 Prime Review in detail.

Huawei Y7 Prime is 5.5 inches device with the capacitive touch screen that supports the resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is 4G supported device Furthermore the system has Octa-core 1.4 GHz processor. ROM is 32GB and RAM is 3GB while powerhouse has 4000 mAh fixed battery. Dual SIM options are supportive with dual standby. Both camera lenses have 12MP lens for its back and the front camera is packed with 8MP. Huawei Y7 Prime is equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

Display of Huawei Y7 Prime:

Huawei Y7 Prime is 5.5 inches’ device with IPS capacitive touch screen and screen to body ratio is almost 71%. It supports the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels while the density pixel is 320 dpi. The supportive pixels are enough for the clear visibility of icons and texts.

The Y7 Prime is using Adreno 505 as its Graphic processing unit (GPU) which improves its performance mainly in graphic display and a good point for 3D game lovers.

It has scored 5-points in the multi touch test which is satisfactory because most of Huawei mid-range devices scored the same points.

Design of Huawei Y7 Prime:

Talking about the front design of Huawei Y7, we have of course an ear piece in the center. To the left side, there’s a front camera and that’s it.The front side is all covered with silver layers on all four edges.

On the right edge, the device has a volume and power buttons whereas left edge has also one button. Down side has micro-USB connector and speakers whereas top side has audio jack of 3.5 mm on it.

The status bar at lock screen is present at the top side which shows the status of connectivity points, SIM, and battery. A down side date and time are displayed while the camera option is present at the right side.

The main screen has date and time widget at its top while below to it we have Google search bar. After it, some applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns. It doesn’t have any application manager separate just a slider bar is available to access all the applications.

Huawei Y7 Prime has Octa-Core 1.4GHz 64-bit type processor which is built on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. The chip set which is inserted in Y7 Prime is Qualcomm MSM8940  Snapdragon 435. The chip set is highly excellent performing chip and it is better than any quad-core processor.

This chip set has a modem which works mainly in analog signals such as mobile signals. So with it, we can receive better signal coverage as compared to any other device. We have not observed any kind of heating issue in it while charging it or using the camera.
