OnePlus 3 to Make its Official Debut on June 14

It has been confirmed by the Chinese smartphone company OnePlus, that OnePlus 3 will make its official debut worldwide on June 14 at 12:30PM EDT (9:30AM PDT). Invitations have already been distributed. VR users can buy the device exclusively within the first two hours and open sales will initiate at 3PM EDT.

OnePlus has also created a teaser page on its Chinese website that indicates that the OnePlus 3 will be presented at a “conference” on June 15 at 10AM (Chinese Time) and in the U.S, the time will be 10PM (June 14) EDT or 7PM (June 14) PDT.

The company also confirmed in a blog post on its Chinese website that it will launch the OnePlus 3 at the event. OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 2 on July 27, 2015 at 11PM EDT. It seems like the OnePlus 3 launch event will begin a little earlier this time.

OnePlus has also invited children from various countries to let their artistry free and draw the OnePlus 3. The results are quite appealing.

OnePlus is not going to present a vintage press event for the OnePlus 3. Rather people are invited to wear VR headsets preferably a Loop VR and witness the unbosoming of the new phone in the implicit settings of the Loop space station. The first OnePlus 3 entity to go on sale will be purchasable via VR as well.

The announcement authenticates the leak from last week, when a OnePlus representative slipped the June 14 release date to a customer during a conversation. It will most probably present a proper announcement for the global event soon, so lets wait and keep our fingers crossed for the event.
