PTA Raids Illegal Gateway Exchanges in Distt. Vehari

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its ongoing efforts to control grey traffick has unearthed illegal gateway exchanges in Vehari.

According to details, two successful raids against the grey operators were carried out along with FIA team in two different areas of Distt. Vehari.

• First Raid: in Mailsi,a city under the Distt. Vehari.
• Second Raid: in Ghara More.

So, the First raid was carried out at Mailsi. Six illegal VoIP exchange comprising alongwith other related equipment was confiscated and are under the custody of FIA. Second raid was carried out at Ghara More. Two illegal VoIP exchanges alongwith other related equipment was confiscated.

The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic thus curtailing the loss to the national exchequer because of grey traffickers in the country.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) along with FIA team raid many other cities of Pakistan as well to arrests those people who are involved in the  exchange of illegal gateway.
