PTCL to Make Gwadar the Future Trade Hub of the Region

From the past few years Gwadar has got the government attention because of its strategic location. Foreign investors as well as the government of Pakistan are playing their active role in making Gwadar a business hub. For establishing the region, best communication services and mediums are required.

PTCL to Make Gwadar the Future Trade Hub of the Region

On this matter Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced that they will make massive investment in Gwadar in order to provide different facilities and services to local and foreign investors. Executive Vice President Raza hasnain briefly disclosed the investment matter.He also said that PTCL is planning to execute infrastructure project to provide an investment-friendly environment for the local as well as the foreign investors. He said that the PTCL plans to execute infrastructure project in Gwadar in order to make investment-friendly environment for the companies.

As it is known to all that two major data center of PTCL is in Karachi and Lahore. It is decided by the PTCL that Gwadar telecom infrastructure would be connected with Karachi data center because of the feasibility.

While explaining the role of PTCL, Raza Hussnain said that PTCL has been running international internet cable service with the help of four submarines under deep sea water. They are also planning to expand the  international internet service to neighbouring countries, including China and Iran.
